Mobile Clinic

In 2021, Helping Haiti launched a mobile clinic to address ongoing medical needs in Cité Soleil. The violence in the area had reached a point that the youngest, wisest and most vulnerable in our community were no longer safely able to travel (even on the main streets) in order to reach our clinic. Our team bravely mobilized, instead bringing healthcare to the doorsteps of our community. As the violence has continued, this has remained the safest and best way to continue serving our community.

Our mobile clinic staff continue to travel to different areas each week treating a variety of wounds, infection and chronic illnesses, while providing medications for those who cannot afford it. They are also able to perform emergency procedures such as stitching lacerations and treating gun shot wounds. We are so proud of our brave team!
