Emergency Relief

On Saturday August 14, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck southwest Haiti, killing over 1500 people and injuring thousands more. Haiti was then hit by Tropical Storm Grace, complicating efforts to search for and rescue survivors and causing flooding in the camps where people are staying after losing their homes.

Our Emergency First Aid team, after experiencing their own devastating earthquake in 2010, were eager to help in any way they could. They are traveling to Les Cayes, the epicentre of the earthquake, to provide emergency relief and critical medical supplies.

This is a constantly evolving situation and a time of great need for support in Haiti. If you would like to support our team in their relief efforts, please visit our Donate Now page and select “Emergency Relief” as the fund.

Our first responders are traveling from Cité Soleil to Les Cayes to help with emergency relief.
